It has been a few months and I wanted to share an update with what's been happening! Summer is finally upon us and with summer comes newness of life and growth! It is a new season, both environmentally and spiritually, and that is becoming more evident daily. God has very much been preparing my heart recently for what life will look like on the race. It has been busy - I have had close to no down time, but I have also had a LOT of contemplative prayer time and some deep decision making. Life feels pretty jumbled right now and there are so many changes happening, but I am excited for it all. I just wanted to share what's coming up and what God's been showing me!

Here's a couple quick snippets of some upcoming stuff:
-I am partnering with my friends Liz (www.maplepleafpottery.com) and Kelly (@samiladesigns) for a super exciting fundraiser that will be coming up. More details to share on that soon!
-I have a $10,000 deadline due June 25th. This means I still have about $3,200 to raise before I hit that deadline in just under 2 weeks! God is good!
-Training Camp is exactly 4 weeks away and our tentative launch date is less than 2 months away!

As I mentioned briefly, life since the summer season began has been jumbled - many financial, spiritual, and mental obstacles. With new seasons or new starts in life often comes intimidation, sense of being overwhelmed, exhaustion, and stress. I have felt those things here and there, but what I have been realizing lately is that when you are walking in the will of God, peace triumphs over those other feelings. Newness produces a beautiful opportunity to lean not on your own understanding, but to trust in the Lord. It is a blessing to have a fresh start. To be doing something new. I am so thankful that I can give up my job to go serve and share God's love around the world. My heart is so full of joy and peace to know that He called me to this.

"The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring." Isaiah 58:11.

This verse has been my go-to for a few years, and once again as I step into another fresh start, it has hit the mark every time in encouraging me. I wanted to share it with you today as a reminder that His mercy flows unconditionally and in His presence is where we find strength.

So as we are getting closer to launching, I wanted to ask you to be part of it. I would love to encourage you to pray and ask the Lord if this is something He wants you to partner with. Whether that means supporting my team in prayer, donating, or even sharing advice/wisdom/connections/etc.... Whatever it is, I am thankful for you taking the time to read this quick little update! It is through community and all your support that this trip is even possible. Thank you thank you for reading:)

P.S. I sell photo prints! All the money I receive from photoshoots/selling prints is going directly towards my trip, so if you are interested in purchasing one feel free to check out the print highlight on @jessieshoots Instagram page and message me!
